Once acne problems are behind you, it is not uncommon for scars and marks to remain on the skin, whether on the back, face or any other area of the body. There are two types of scars, those that form holes in the skin due to a lack of collagen produced by the epidermis, as well as raised scars, which are thick and visible due to excessive scarring. In both cases, Paramedika offers treatment to make them disappear.
- Treatments offered: intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment and microneedling treatment.
- Technology used: IPL technology and DERMAPEN®.
- Results: Following approximately 3 to 6 treatments depending on the technology used. It is possible to continue the treatment thereafter according to the needs of the client.
